Thomas Rehmeier

Thomas Rehmeier first became involved in the Gateway Chess League in 2002 as a player in the 6th grade, regularly participating in the Saturday tournaments up through high school.  Shortly after graduating university, he returned to Gateway as a volunteer floor referee, eventually becoming the Head Tournament Director in 2019.  Thomas has been a United States Chess Federation (USCF) certified tournament director since 2004 and is currently a USCF Senior Tournament Director and FIDE National Arbiter.  In addition to Gateway, he serves on the Board of Directors for the Missouri Chess Association where he is responsible for annual State Scholastic Championship and is a USCF National Delegate for the State of Missouri.  Thomas currently resides in Wentzville, MO with his wife and two daughters.
